Would the moded xbox be able to play PAL gAMES ? Has anyone on this borad ever tried that ?

Yes you are able to play various regions on a modded xbox. It has to do with the bios you use.

Most bios are able to run the PAL NTSC and NTSCJ regions without to many problems.
