I'm using SID 3.0, and the networking is set to static...problem is, is that while it will prevent some XBL, when I try to access online stuff such as videos on XBMC it just says that theres a DNS error...anybody know how to fix this? And if I have Nkpatcher, can I use DHCP and not have to worry about my games connecting to Live? 0.o

if u use static ip on the xbox ,
u need to manually enter the dafualt gateway and the dns in the network setting to connect to the internet ,
but if u use a router , it will prabably need to be changed from dhcp to static routing ,
if you change ur xbox to dhcp then all that info should be there ,
if its not then again , enter in manually .
ipconfig -all command will show u ur default gateway ip and dns ips _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a

like bobrownik said, if you just change your connectioon settings to dhcp it should configure automatically and it will allow you to get online. _________________ Blue Chaos
