I recently (today) installed led's into each controller button and one for the jewel. I have a total of 5 leds in my controller s. All the leds work perfectly, and look awesome. The only problem is is that the buttons are now like a rock, they don't really move. The thumbsticks can actually be pushed in, and the start button doesn't really work.

No doubt it can be fixed up but you need to speak with someone who has time for all this stuff.. I only wish i did.. hehhe
i did this mod to two of my controls. I have to say i used 1 led in my first control (because it was 8000mcd it didnt really have enough power for any more leds) and the second control had two leds.
i had no problem installing the first led into the first control and putting it all back together. However the second control (with2 leds in it) was a bit more difficult to put back together, however after a bit of playing with the led location i fixed this problem.
If you can tell me the location of the leds in ur control, it would greatly help in figuring out why ur buttons are stuck. My theory - because the buttons need direct contact onto the controller pcb, u may have led wire, or the actual led interfering with this "connection". What i mean by connection is, the buttons press down onto a "switch" on the pcb and without physical connection they cant work. So i think ur leds are in the way.
other than that this mod is good and really simple. First time i eve used soldering iron was on this mod!

I have one led in each of the 4 controller buttons (AXBY) and then one more under the jewel. I think I figured out my problem though, I glued them in with hotglue and the hotglue is interfering with the button pushing. I will update when I fix it. _________________ XBOX- V1.0
