Just bought an Xenium Spice and should be in the mail today... once I get it I was wondering what BIOS I should flash it with. There are a ton out there, lot of new ones, but dunno which I should flash this chip with. Looking for a recommendation...

If you have a 1.1 versio mobo, then go with X2 5035 or X2 4983 bios. You won't be disappointed.

Alright then thx... just one more question. I have found many different versions of those BIOS's (file sizes I mean... 1mb/512k/256k). I know different chips support different sized BIOS's. I was just wondering which is the best to go with, the larger sized BIOS files or the smaller sized ones?

EDIT: Looking at the specs this chip can hold a 1mb BIOS, what I ment by this post was is there any difference between installing a full 1mb bios or installing a smaller version of the same BIOS. _________________ Xbox V1.1

Alright nevermind I installed the 1mb X2 4983.06 BIOS on it just fine...
I orginally bought this modchip because as you can see in my sig my HD is screwed. I ran configmagic, unlocked the HD, and my friend turned the box off before I could lock it back.
I noticed this chip has a HD lock/unlock function on it, tried it and it says it can't lock/unlock the HD it keeps failing... hopefully once I get my AID v2.02 CD back I can run config magic off it and get this HD working again.
