I downloaded autoinstaller 2.0. It advised me that it is an updater for iso 2.0. Not having iso 2.0, it is difficult to update it. win-rar also said the file was corrupted. I'm trying again but now I seem to be getting the package poece-meal. That part is ok. But most of the extensions are unknown to me. Most of the extensions are numbers *.00 through *.11. Then there is an auto-installer. deluxe.v2.0.readme.nfo. What's *.nfo? Then there is an aid20.sfv. What's sfv? There is one recognizable *.rar file.
a: what are these extensions?
b: is what I have been downloading functional? How do I use/unpak the stuff?
c: where/how do I get iso 2.0 if it does not come with the auto installer?
TIA

1.open the .nfo in notepad, the sfv is a for filechecking, you don't need it
2. download the latest WinRAR, yours is old and is why it says the download is corrupt. to actually get the files you dbl click that .rar and select everything inside and then hit Extract To, and select a place to save it too. WinRAR will combine all them numbered pieces into the actual files

Thank you,
I am beginning by reading and collecting software. When I
hit that snag, it simply added to the frustration. I've never
encountered the type of file format I was presented.
