Hey guys, just to let you know that these XCM cases are all that and a bag of chips!! (Xenium Ice chips if your taking notes..lol)
If anyone has purchased one of the original translucent knock-offs that started poisoning the market serveral months ago (I am sure we all know someone who cracked one) then you know how tough it is to find a good case that has an authentic LE look.
Sure, you can find people selling the real things. If you don't mind paying 75.00 to 125.00 for them!!
Now, you can have pretty much the real thing for only $49.99 with shipping! I am going to start stocking these bad boys, so if anyone needs one let me know. They come in three colors currently. Crystal clear and two shades of blue.
I am awaiting the crystal case, but I have one of the blue ones right now and I have to say I am extremely impressed. Not only does this case very much look like an authentic LE case, but it also has the bottom fixture, brand new rubber feet, dvd bezel and a custom clear jewel (that I am most likely going to remove...lol).
I took a few snap shots without any hardware in it, and if you are worried about how the hardware fits...don't. This is awesome. Everything fits to a "T". Finally, an awesome aftermarket case!!

Just wanted to know it you put a machine together with the new case? If so, any kind of problems or anything? I ordered the case and I am going to put a V1.3 setup in to it. Just looking for anything unexpected really?

Yeah, I didn't have any issues whatsoever...my only complaint is I actually ordered a clear case and got a blue one...lol.
Then, they shipped me a replacement case overnight. Guess what color it was..
FRIGGING BLUE

Maybe he is just color blind. My mom's boyfriend is a car detailer, and he is color blind to boot. He touched up his won 68 Chevrolet Kingswood Faux Wood Door Panels with Red touch up paint. WHY?? it looked the same.
Then on another note, my family owns a few used car lots, and one of their auction buyers bought a CRACKLED PURPLE w/ the sparkles (custom paint, but I am sure you can follow) 1986 Jaguar XJ8. The guy thought it was a blue color.
Needless to say a Pimp bought that car. Should have seen his outfit. lol

haha...no I don't even get a deal. all i got were dealer costs shaved a bit more than everyone else, they aren't in business to give stuff away

I spent 12 years in the car business...
Asking someone for prices on those types of vehicles from another state isn't going to be very productive for you.
Look for local auctions, grab an Edmunds or NADA book from barnes and noble. Also can get your states black boot, which to me is a better book for the true value of what prices should be in the state you are purchasing.
NADA book is cool and all, but would rather use the black book if I was buying...the NADA if I was selling...lol.
