hey guys,
ive got a softmodded xbox, I have been hearing alot about an eeprom and that i should back it up, but i have no idea wat it is or how i back it up. could someone please enlighten me.

An EEPROM (E²PROM, E2PROM), or Electrically-Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory, is a non-volatile storage chip used in computers and other devices. Unlike an EPROM, an EEPROM can be programmed and erased multiple times electrically.
In our case, it's basically the bios of your xbox that M$ put on so that in the event of a flash issue, you have the ability to put the box back to it's original configuration.

I use Evox to back it up and send it to my PC ...it,s so simple and works great!

you send the backup you created with evox to pc ,

ok thanks, but i don't think i can do it, cause i formatted my xbox so ive probably lost my ms dash backup, if that is the "eeprom" backup
