the easiest way is to ftp them from your PC to your xbox via a network cable.. Give your xbox a ip address in the same range as your PC.. Then you can connect to your XBOX using FLASHFXP (http://www.flashfxp.com) and transfer files to and from your xbox or pc..

This is the easiest way so you dont have to create discs all the time.

heres some more info that will help you:

If you are on a windows box get your ip address info from your computer like this:

1. Choose Start Menu
2. Choose Run
3. Type 'cmd' and then press enter
4. Type 'ipconfig /all' and then enter
5. It will display all your PC ip informaiton.

Once you know your PC's ip address you can give your xbox a similar setup..

eg. if pc is 192.168.0.1 with a subnet: 255.255.255.0 then you would give your xbox a ip address of say 192.168.0.2 or anywhere to say 192.168.0.100 and the same subnet..

once you have given your xbox this info.. Save and then reboot your xbox.. You should then be able to ftp using FLASHFXP from your pc.

Another tip:
always turn off all firewalls until you get it working.. Then you can configure that later..

kk,

for your xbox to read the disc it will need to be in XISO format.
So you will need to download a app for your pc like QWIX or CXBOXTOOL (http://www.cxboxtool.xbox-hq.com) which can make XBOX COMPATIBLE images ready to burn.

you have to do this:
1. Create a folder on your pc and copy all the roms into it.
2. Start up cxboxtool or any xiso tool and choose to create a new .iso file.
3. It will now ask which directory you want to make the .iso out of.. Just point it to the folder you just created with all the roms in it.
4. Click start or next or go (whaetevr) and it will make a .iso file on your pc.
5. Startup Nero or DVDDECRYPTER cd burning software and burn the image.. Just choose open then .iso file..

hope that gets you going..

once you get the files reading in your xbox you can use one of many xbox apps to copy to your hdd.. This is the long way!

Just a quick note, I found XisoManager to be a very user friendly app, with the ability to build, extract, and burn Xiso's

Hi roo,

normally it would be fine to mention x-s but lately they have banned all links to our site so we must unfortunately do the same for them..

The owner of X-S (xantium) is a top bloke but some the admins have attitude problems..

X-S is a business and not a hobbysite like HQ!

enjoy the site.. have a look around.. Im sure you will find everything you need and more right here..

good to see another aussie too.
