I WAS PLAYING A GAME OFF THE HD AND I RESTARTED IT AFTER THAT THE SCREEN ON MY TV FLASHES UP AND DOWN LIKE I HAVE BUNNY HEARS OR SOMETHING I MOVE IT TO ANOTHER TV AND THE SAME THING I CHANGED THE CORDS AND STILL I DONT UNDERSTAND I HEAR IT BUT IT FLASHES TO FAST LIKE AN OLD TV PICTURE OR VCR GOING UP AND DOWN TILL U ADJUST IT...HAS ANY ONE EVER HEARD OR HAD THIS PROBLEM WHAT CAN I DO ??? THANKS

Hiya
If you have the same problem with 2 tv's and 2 cables then the problem must be with the xbox, is it the same with all games? try playing an original, it could well be the graphics chip is gone and will need a new motherboard.
test it with the chip switched off, and see if it does it on the MS dash

TO BE HONEST I JUST GOT IT ABOUT 3 MO AGO I PAID SOME GUY 50 BUCKS TO DO IT I MIGHT OF CHANGED SOMESETTING LAST NIGT TRYING TO FTP IT TO MY COMP AND I HAD SOME PAL VERSION MOVIES I WANTED TO PLAY SO I CHANGED IT TO AOUTO INSTEAD OF NTFS I DONT KNOW IF THAT DID IT OR HOW TO TURN THE SWITCH OFF THIS SUCKS AND NO MATTER WHAT GAMES I PLAY IT STILL GOES UP .....

To be honest the Video region settings should not effect it that much, but you can try something called Enigmah Video mode switchdisk, you burn it to disk, start the xbox, wait like 30 seconds, and press the A button, reboot and see if it helps, if not try again and press the B button instead, and reboot.
if neither help then it is definelty not a problem with the video region

If you switched your system to display on a PAL tv that is your problem. I would use the enigmah video mode switch disk program to bring it back to NTSC and you should be okay.

ha ha, glad we could help.
It's wierd tho cos you don;t get that with an ntsc xbox on a pal tv, just in black & white, while a pal xbox on an ntsc tv messes up.
I had a few crystals i shipped to the US, and I forgot to make them ntsc.
But hey, at least it is working
