if i go to the ms dashboard from evoX, will it screw my xbox up? and can i just reboot to get back to evoX ?

if you have PATCHED the M$ bios in the SID menu (dvd try open to start) then NO! going to M$ dash from EVOX will NOT messup your box, and yes when you reboot it will go back to the EvoX.
