Is there anyway to change that start up animation on a softmodded box? Also does anyone know of a good site to download ROM packs, not individual ROM files, I have lots of NES and SNES games i need to back up.... Thanks a bunch

No it's not possible to change the animation , you need a modchip if you want to change it , when using softmod the original bios is loaded first so patching the bios from softmod won't help you because it changes to that after the original (you will never see your changed one)
