ok is there a way to add a second hd to a xbox? yess.... but can u put in a laptop hard drive i need help! is there a way to mod a ide cable so u can have a eide connecter or any way to hook up the hd i really need this since i dont have much money for another hd so i got a free laptop drive

there is a way to add more then one harddrive but you cant use more then 1 at a time ,
you need to mod the ide cable with a switch , also
you can buy a IDE to mini IDE converter to use the laptop harddrive ,
im not sure if the laptop harddrive can use the xbox power supply , might be too much juice for it , so you might have to mod that also ,

well this hard drive is for a 5 volt but the way it looks is that the power rund threw 4 pins on th left sinde in where the ide cable connects to it. im gonna try and do somtin but hopefully i can get a real drive
