I have a bit of a wierd problem, i did a power off/on when my xbox was stuck after i tried a reset (pushing 4buttons together) and now the evox won't start, i can start the regular MS dash, i can use a boot DVD to get the evox running, but i can't seem to get the thing going without using the boot disc...it gets to the screen showing xecutor2 instead of microsoft but thats it...
any ideas?

I would suggest a reinstall of your evox dashboard using the HQ Auto INstaller DEluxe.. You can find the information for the AIDeluxe here:

Once you download and burn to dvd-r/cdrw you can boot it in your xbox and replace missing files or even do a full format reinstall.. Its up to you.
We have detailed instructions avalable too and also a pdf with screenshots walking you through the process in our Downloads section too.

thanks for the reply, but i got it working again (haven't got a clue how, but it works) and no offence but i'm getting reall sick of all of these VIP paying sites, first off i have no way of paying this, and second, stop ripping people off! jeez

Nobody forced you to come to this site. By the way if you haven't noticed you DID get an answer for your question. You just don't know the benefits of being a V.I.P. member. How many times have you been to a site that tells you to get your bios or anything else for that matter at the " usual places". I guarantee you that you have never been told that here.
Granted I have not been a member for long, but I have nothing but praise for everyone here both V.I.P. and non V.I.P. We all try to help each other out instead of being out for ourselves. Do you think that it is free to get all the info that is on here. Admin spends plenty of time doing whatever they can to keep this site running so that people like you can come here and get answers.
This is not a ripoff, and I think you should really look at the boards and read about all the issues that heve been resolved before you judge. _________________

this i understand, and with all respect for the admin and the people spending there time on this, but first i have to enable the download, to find out i have to register to download something, allriight, i do this, then i enable the download again, only to get a msg that i have to be vip to download anything......seriously, without that damn download enableling i would be more then happy to pay something (or doest that dissapear when i am vip?)

The download enabling might be something with your pc and not the site. I downloaded a few things before I became a V.I.P. and never saw anything like that. There are things you can download without being a V.I.P. but certain things like AID you need to be V.I.P. Believe me it's worth it. My xbox would not be what it is now without the V.I.P. downloads.
I understand that you might be a bit frustrated, but there are times where you need to give a little so that you can get alot. _________________

What you have to understand is when a hyperlink is created to a secure folder (one that can only be accessed by VIP's) the hyperlink cannot discern what you are. A link is a link is a link. Only when you click it can the script run a check to see if you are allowed to download the file.
As far as "ripping people off" take a deep breath....hold it.....now blow me.
If you can find a site (in english) that lists/offers all of the VIP files, VIP server, VIP Ticketing, contests, and other VIP freebies, without having some sort of donation and/or fees associated with it the go there... the truth is, you just can't.
Do you have any idea the bandwidth that this site goes through on a monthly basis? If you know any hosting companies out there that can allow 200GB or more bandwidth a month be used, allow special scripts to be ran, and all the other features that this site needs for free please let us know now so we can jump on the free band wagon. I have been contributing to several Xbox Modding sites for a year now. I can honestly say that this site has the most complete package out there. Whether it's a file that is needed, a question needing answered, innovative autoinstallers, or even just one modder helping another, this site is second to NONE.
Go to our newbie section and read as many posts as you can, go all the way back to the beginning of this site. Not ONCE will you see an answer telling someone to "read the fucking manual", or, "hey, try a search engine you f#&@", or crap like that. Go to the Xbox-Scene and see if you find the same to ring true? We don't tolerate flaming. We don't tolerate people judging others. We only try to bring forward a community that helps as much as it can, and we try to have fun at the same time. To throw a label on this site that the owner is "ripping" people off is ludicrous.
Do us all a favor and save your comments. At least until you have given this site a chance. You have joined for less than a freaking day and have three posts. If you need help, we are here. If you just want to flap your jaw and talk about shit you obviously don't have a clue of, go to Xbox-Scene. They'll fucking love you.
