are you postive mate?? Have you checked with any other virus detectors?
Anyway, thanks for the heads up.. I will get some guys to check it out. Ill give it a go now..
yes I am positive. NOD32 is the BEST virus protective service. It lets NOTHING past, scans EVERYTHING my pc does weather its online/offline. Autoupdates any where from 0-4 times a day (how ever many times as the server updates the virus definition files) which is very nice. And best of all, it is not 'bloated' like other virus protective services like Mcafee. It does not slow down ANYTHING even though its scanning everything from me typing this, clicks, system sounds to websites/links/pictures etc that load up on an internet page.
Now that Im done selling the product lol. Tell me what you think about my warning. _________________

This is by no means to make you look bad. You most likely have the virus within your computer. I searched the virus definition and its NOT pretty at all. Get yourself check out.

I would try it again but the virus is SO NASTY, I would not like to risk it again but im sure. Here is information of the virus and Possibly you guys can not find it unless you have ESET NOD32 is because the virus CANCELS anti-virus actions. Which makes sence of trying to scan it and have nothing found.
my NOD32 found the virus because it scans html sites and much more and it found the virus at the link before the file was downloaded to my machine where damage could be done, and allowed me to DISCONNECT from the infected file, then windows will give you an error that 'Internet Explorer has been disconnected from the file server abnormally' so everythings find. Notice the alias for my virus protection is same as what I listed above. CHECK OUT the info:
It is not a dangerous memory resident multipartite polymorphic virus. When an infected file is executed, the virus affects the MBR of the hard drive, then hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the end of COM and EXE files (except COMMAND.COM) that are accessed. The virus cancels anti-virus programs execution: AVPLITE, AIDSTEST, AVP, DRWEB, SCAN.
On loading from infected MBR the virus hooks INT 13h, waits for DOS loading process and hooks INT 21h. On loading from infected floppy disk the virus also infects the hard drive MBR.
While infecting the MBR and boot sectors the virus does not stores their original contents. To continue loading under infected environment the virus reads and executes the first sector on the C: drive. This sector usually contains standard OS loading routine.

Perhaps the virus scanner just simply doesn't like RAR files.
I vote as a false positive.
I scanned with AVG and it's coming up negative on any virus. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th
That is why you are not picking anything up I believe.
NOD32 does not have problems with rar files because that ALL I use is RAR. I really prefer WINRAR over zip files, its what I use to pack files and handle zip files.
At any rate I will try to download the file again to see if anything happens. Just trying to warn others of what I found, I will report back later.

Maybe the file was moved but not removed. I had just downloaded it this morning to test for the virus myself. I also tested with a free online virus service at http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp and it shows no positive either. I sure don't know what to tell you. I think it's under VIP downloads is it not? _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th
