SOB charged me $10.00 shipping though...shit, I wish I would have checked that first...lol. Ten bucks is steep for such a small item..oh well. Hopefully it will be here soon.
Man what I can say except thank you very very very much : ) If you want I can give you a few bucks for shipping it over here, it's the least I can do. BTW, any chance of getting those LED Controller Ports of mine that are sitting in your drawer still?

Hey guys...sorry I didnt see this post till just now but I got a simple and cheap alternative to action replay. Take a USB cable, male to female. Splice it (female end) and hook it to the xbox controller port thing
Hook the same colored wires together (solder and tape individual then tape bundle). Then download the action replay software...If I can find mine I'll up it to VIP downloads. Plug in the controller (with memory card). Use USB viewer (google search its freeware) to locate the controller and memcard. DO NOT let windows install drivers.
Next edit the action replay driver (Program Files -Datel - ActionReplay Xbox - Drivers - xbreader.inf). Add the line "%S_DeviceDesc1%=_Install1, USB\VID_045E&PID_028" under devices changing the vendor ID and product ID (VID and PID) to what you have listed from USB viewer. Use windows to update the driver and choose file from specific location, the select the driver edited earlier. YOu should be good to go. Hope this works its my firts tutorial and dont know if I linked the pics right. THe cable I used was $2...much cheaper the action replay as I already had a memory card.
Forgot to add I dont take credit for the tutorial as I "borrowed" bits and pieces for it from diff sources. _________________ Xbox v1.0

What do you need an action replay
for?
The file manager in UnleashX see's
memory cards and therefore you can put
game saves and exploits onto normal
memory cards at will.
maybee i'm missing the point somewere
but i'm happy to report that thats
how i do my softmodding with one 8MB
memory card
I just landed a job today so i should
have some money in the next month or
two I'm gonna donate what i can to
my favourite site.

I tried to upload the action replay files five times now.... I put them into a .rar but they won't upload...I dont get an error message just after its finished it says "no file uploaded" and has a go back button. Is there some limit on file size? If so I can double rar it. _________________ Xbox v1.0

To upload any files larger than 1.5mb or so you need to FTP to an account forahobby can setup for you and then go to the "add link" portion and just add the link to the folder.
It's been a bug for the last half year or so. That's what I do with all my larger files. Forahobby set me up a FTP account, I just manage my own folders and submit "add links" when I want to upload a larger file to the VIP download section.
When the action replay that I bought at Ebay comes to me DJB, I'll ship her out to you with those ports and that jewel I got for you too
I attached a photo for ya mate!
later bro

Hi,
You are all certainly great guys and i am very glad you have called XBOXHQ home.. We are all one big family and are only going to get larger.
I must send out a huge thankyou to realmccloy for purchasing the action replay for DJB so he can test his new AID and produce other stuff.. DJB does a hell of alot for all our members and has never asked for help before guys..
DJB & I have so many plans for future releases so we hope you hang in there with us like you have so far.. HQ has grown up from the weeds.

OK, the action replay is taken care of thank you very very much Modgod..
Also thanks to Forahobby and Shark2th for donations too, since the Action Replay has been acquired I can now put this towards a Wireless Network Adapter for my Xbox, which would really be a lot easier than dragging around a network cable.
So, please remember that the action replay is taken care of now. However if any one else feels like throwing 5 or 10 bucks my way for the work I've done on my installers it would be appreciated.
As you all know I have not made any money at all from AID or SID (unlike wankers on ebay) as it sorta feels wrong to "sell" it since 95% of the disc isn't even my work (all the apps, emulators etc). Donations for the work that I've done however isn't so bad because I'm not actually selling the work, ppl are still downloading it for free.
Before I go, one last thankyou to MG, FH, and Shark once again. Thanks for looking after me, like I had tried to look after you and everyone else here
Regards,
DJB

The main reason why I requested the Action Replay was this (just to let you all know):
* It is very difficult to get one of these in Australia, because good old EB Games no longer gets them, due to this excuse: "We had too many people bring them back because they were too confusing" LMAO!
* I wanted the ease of dumping gamesaves using my PC. I tried using the USB Memory Stick method, and have a 256mb here which was "supposed" to be compatible. So I got fed up with this method and went and purchased an official Xbox Memory Card.
* The Action Replay package includes a device to hook up a Xbox Memory Card directly to your PC, which could be heaps quicker in testing new versions of SID. I've already been thinking about making addon packs for SID for the next version btw
So basically the main reason I want it is to make my life a little easier when developing and testing newer versions. Plus the 2nd memory card will let me test out the addon pack properly too (thanks to Sjohn for this idea).

DJB Ya'll have given me a lot, it's the least I can do folks. XBOX-HQ has done a lot for me. It's a real joy to be considered a part of the team. It's team effort that will make us great. I'm in it for the long haul or until ya'll have had enough. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th
