Ok, I have read a number of posts and tried to use the help but have not gone very far. The specific game in question (although I know there are others which are tempremental) is Project Gotham 2. I have used both flashXp and Filezilla to ftp the files from the original to my PC then back to the Xbox HDD, it loads great but whenever it tries to load a race it gives the dirty disc error. Ok, so I try to patch the .xbe's with Craxtion 4 and Quiw 1.01, again same problem. So now I am going to try and back up using the ftp, quix patch and optimized iso method to see if problem persists even to this level. Please help if anyone has had the problem and got round it and don't tell me its media or to set the clock please!

here's hoping someone can help,

cheers

why not just use DVD2XBOX to copy the game to your xbox hdd directly from the XBOX DVDROM.. Smile It will also patch the game if need be in most cases.

Give that a go.

i found a hdd fix for the game i was having problems with. check some torrent sites, and if its a common problem, more than likely the fix is out there, if its not common it might be you got a bad download Sad or did you copy the game yourself?
