Greetings. This may have come up in the past as I can't believe that I am the only one to have this problem. My Xbox will not keep the correct time. If I unplug the system for even a day, then it looses it's time. I know that there is no battery so have to assume that it uses a capacitor. Problem is, where is this particular cap. & can I change it myself without too much hassle???
TIA

Thanks for the info RS6_2n0

I was sort of thinking along the line that the Xbox was like a regular system in that it kept it's clock settings in a CMOS type of enviroment. However, when you think it thru, a cap will discharge over time without a battery, so it makes sense that the clock will lose it's time without an external power source.
Thanks for your help and putting my mind at ease. Much appreciated
