I have a Samsung DVD 605F in my Xbox version 1.6 and I know that there are 2 version the F that read's DVD-R only and the 605B that read's DVD-R,DVD-RW,CD-R and CD-RW.
now in the donwloads on this site ,there is a file called 605.bin,
I want to know if I can make a B out of my F

i dont know , i dont think anyone here has an answer for you either ,
but there is one way to find out , do it and post the results ,
back up the oryginal firmware first , then flash it with the B version and test it out , if it doesnt work reflash it back to the oryginal firmware _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a

But in the VIP downloads there is in the "firmware" folder a Samsung SDG-605 firmware and nobody would know what it is for ?
