OK what i wanna know is i personally think that running the software used to mod an xbox and the steps you take would be so much more convenient and easy to me if instead of using a CD or CD-RW to burn the xbox hd maker small Linux tool CD, i could use a flash drive(thumb drive, key drive, ect) Ive been trying it out but ive never really be interested in trying to make such a thing boot-able so i don't know what to do or if its even possible but i don't see why it isn't possible.can someone please help me or guide me to a tutorial to how to do this or something!and well ive gottin as far as making it bootable from a flash but when i try to use the tools it keeps looking for the files in the cd drive instead of on the flash drive where they are and i have no clue how to make it look in the right place instead of in the cd drive can someone please help me and if this isnt possible please tell me Thanx!

Try turning your CD ROM off if you are familiar with the BIOS. IF you are not, i would not touch them!

check in your BIOS if boot via USB is listed if it is move it to the number 1 spot. If its not listed then this wont be an option for you.
