is there any program that will rip a dvd and make it an avi i ripped a dvd but i ended up with two folders and dont know what to do with them so i dont have to put things together

There are PC applications that do that. Just Google in "DVD ripping" and you'll find plenty of trial software.
I can't use 'em because I don't have a DVD-ROM on my comp.
Or did you want one that does it from Xbox? Hmm, I don't know of any of them...

1ClickDVD Ripper is what I used, but you need to find a program that will allow you to also rip movies that are copyprotected, so it's a two application process. You have a program like DVD Region and CSS Free running in the back ground, and you set it's settings to recognize your AVI/DiVX creation program. Then you launch 1ClickDVD Ripper, or SuperAVI Ripper, there are a lot of those programs out there that will do it.
DJB posted another way to make DiVX files, but it's a pretty complicated process. You can find it in the tutorial section. It was one of his older tutorials, very in depth. I use 1ClickDVD Ripper or the Super DVD to AVI ripper 4.0.
When you rip DVD's to your xbox you can use the XMBC Stack feature to put the files together, but use the DivX method. A 6GB move can be converted into a 700MB file.

Use DVD Decrypter to convert the dvd files to something much more managable, like a power dvd file, or use Boilsoft's dvd program, which is also very effective. _________________ Xbox V1.0
