Hi, i am a newbie on this site and to softmodding, i am starting to understand the concept. This is what my problem is, i have a random xbox that someone had given me, and i have a 10 gig hard drive that another persom gave me. This 10 gig hard drive is bigger then average ones, and this si because this hard drive was from a xbox that came out when xbox was 1st introduced the big xbox. Now when i put this inside my xbox that some1 gave me it displays error number 7. I checked the ide cable and they were all good. Now what could be the problem, maybe the xbox motherboard is not sodered properly? what could be the problem?

You need to unlock the 10 gig hdd and lock it to the new xbox for it to work. If you don't do that then you will allows get error 7. _________________
