I have had a new 120GB HDD installed for almost a month now and have finally got some time to spend on it. I installed the newest version of XBMC as an app and copied Halo2 to the HDD, but neither will show up in my E: drive. I can access them through the file manager and see that they are indeed there in the F:, but how do I link them to the games folder to work from the dash?
I also see two seemingly useless folders. One being the "Media folder" in my file manager, where there is spot for skins. Why is this there when I already have a folder called skins? The other is another folder simpy called "Skin", with an XBOX_HQ skin in it that doesn't seem to work at all. I tried to copy it to my skins folder, but it still won't show up. Any solutions? I would like to see what it looks like. Or possibly delete it for the space. _________________

So what dash are you running if XBMC is an App?
Ware are all the skin folders you are talking about, in the root E?
Did you check all the settings for an option to enable an F drive?

I'm running UnleashX and all of the folders, "Media", "Skin", and "Skins" are all in the E drive. The Halo2 disc copy and the XBMC app are in the F drive. And yes, I have enabled the F. I did that as soon as I installed the new HDD. I can veiw the files, but only in the file manager. I can't see them from the dash.
"Skin" was already on the mod when I used AID and it has an XBOX_HQ skin inside, but I can't get it to work. I tried to copy it to the "Skins" folder where all of my skins are and it wouldn't even show up in there.
"Media" was on there as well, as you should already know about that one. It just says "put skins here" inside the folder. Don't see the point when I have a "Skins" folder. I can do without this one right? I don't want it to corrupt anything if I erase it though. _________________

So you have a Games and Apps folder in both F and E drive right?

Make sure that halo is inside of F:\Games, if it isn't it wont show up in the games section of the dash. If you do put it in there and it still doesn't work then you need to change your xml. If you have to do this I can walk you through it. _________________

Yeah I have them in both. The Games folder appeared after I copied Halo to the HDD. Same thing happened with the Apps folder and the XBMC dash.
I realize now that the HQ skin is only for EVOX. So nevermind that. I will just erase it. So one problem solved out of three. _________________

If you set the HDD up with the AID large HDD option they should just show up as long as the Games folder and Apps folder are spelled and titled identically.
If you did not use the large HDD option then you will need to edit the XML.

I'll check, but I know I enabled the F drive and I followed the Chimp tut to the fullest. I had Final Cloud to assist until I was up and running. _________________

I checked and everything is enabled like it's should be, but nothing is showing. How do I go about changing the XML? Will that switch it to the large HDD option? _________________

I think if you just reinstall your dash with the soft mod dash option in aid it should ask if you have a large HDD (E & F) and that will tie in the updated XML.
Chimp copies whats on the stock HDD and I'm willing to bet you used the stock HDD option for that so the XML is not looking for an F drive.
