Nah, I only have time to work on it when I'm at his house. I've almost finished the game now, so I'm not so worried about it. I am still going to try and see if I can get it to work for future issues. Would it be possible to save it to a Flash drive using the USB controller port adapter? _________________

I only see the options to format to Fat32 and plain old Fat. No Fatx here. I'll try them both and let you know what works if anything does. _________________

Are you hooking it to the OC or the XBOX?
If you hook it to the xbox it should format it for you to fatx.

I assume that you mean PC. I did hook it up to the pc to format into the fat. When I hooked it up to the XBOX, all it said was it is not formatted. I tried three of them. Two flash drives and one external HDD. How can I manually do it through the XBOX? I had it hooked up with the usb controller adapter. _________________

Okay, heres what happes. When I put the ISO onto the flash drive, the xbox doesn't recognize the ISO and it says (not formatted). So then I format it from the xbox in the file manager. I figured that out. It still says that it isn't formatted, but when I restart the xbox with the flash drive in, it does indeed recognize the flash drive. Unfortunately, the ISO is no longer on it because I had to format it.
So, then I unplugged the drive and hooked back up to my laptop, but now my laptop says that the drive isn't formatted. In turn, creating a never- ending formatting sequence, with the ISO getting trashed everytime. I did try it again and the same thing happened. I had to format from the xbox and restart, to get it to work. Possibly I'm skipping something here. Anything ringing a bell? _________________

Lets just say you wold save hours by working on FTP.
the only way to get a PC to read fatx is to run a Linux OS, you started out talking about a game save and now your trying to put an ISO on a flash drive?

I'm just trying to see what I can and can't do with this thing. Obviously this is something that can't be done due to the formatting and all. The same buddy that has the game save wanted me to put some skins on his xbox and I thought this would be more convenient than carrying the whole xbox and cables. It doesn't work anyways though.
As for the FTP, I remember how long it all took to get set up and I can burn the ISO and copy to a disc in the same time if not less. Less hassle for me. I willl come to terms with it someday I guess. Still though, any ideas on a solution to the flash drive problem? I can't think of one, being that both the laptop and xbox have to format it to read it. _________________

It works grate for xbox to xbox file swaps and with the AR software on your PC you can transfer game save but random info from your PC to your xbox or vice versa wont work out to well, if at all.
