Post subject: MS Dash freezes on Network Screen

Hi!

I softmodded my Xbox some weeks ago with AID 4.0 as Dualboot with MS & XBMC. I recently downloaded AID 4.20 and tried to update my system (actually I wanted a new version of XBMC...).

After that I had some problems with my Project Mayhem skin (missing texts), which I solved finally by deinstalling the Softmod and reinstalling it with the 4.20 disk again.

Now the trouble began:
While XBMC works perfectly, the MS Dash has a big problem. As soon as I try to enter the network settings, the screen turns black.

To make it worse, I put in a game (FORZA by the way) and when I tried to use the online function, the Xbox wanted to update something in Xbox live, but couldn't complete the installation. Result: MS Dash doesn't boot any longer (ERROR code 21). Excellent Sad

Fortunately I could reinstall the system with AID 4.20, but the network screen in the MS Dash is still not working.

Any ideas?

I was going to say to try unmounting the virtuail C drive and set it back to stock, then just reinstall.

That's what i did yesterday. I unmounted C, reinstalled the standard MS Dash from my Backup. Now I could change the Network settings.
But when I tried to install my Softmod with the MechWarrior SID again, the only option I got was WITH virtual C.

I don't remember how I did it on my initial Softmod some time ago. I can't tell if I had an option to install WITHOUT virtual C.
