hi everyone im new and i have a question how do u copy games to the hard drive i have dvd2xbox and i did it but how do i get the game on the list for me to choose

u need to click the white button to go to dvd2xbox menu and enable f:\ _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a

Hi Hmmmm1972,
What dashboard are you running?? We need more info mate..
If your running evox it should automatically add all games that are located in e:\Games F:\Games and G:\Games to the EVOX MENU!
If it doesnt just ftp into your xbox and copy the evox.ini to your PC and then open it using NOTEPAD.. Copy and paste into this post or just .zip up the ini and UPLOAD A ATTACHMENT when you reply!

OK im new and not THAT computer savy but it says this (P.S this was a unexpected gift and dont know what to do i found all this info by changing the skins screen)
when i click browse on dvd2xbox on the left it has system files i guess like <90x26>,<cache> and folders like that and on the right it has
<games> <~~~this is where the game i copied ended up
<nintendo64>
<playstation Games>
<xbox Games>
i have DSL sbc yahoo with a homeportal and i dont know how to hook it up to my x box and yes i have read on it but i still dont know how to hook it up
and last heres the info from my setting menu

HEY ... dont mess with config magic. you can kill your box if you dont know what u r doing... as far as loading the games you dump it in to f:\games. where it says,,, 26132 MB free f:\games\ ,,,, highlight and hit the a button. it should start copying _________________ SE HALO XBOX v. 1.6

Yes, all you have to do is copy the game to the F:/games folder. Once you do that you should see the game when you select, Games On HD, that is on your EvoX menu. It should auto add it.
If you are doing this and it's not auto adding, then there is something up with your Evox.ini file
let me know if you get it working or if you still have a problem.

thanks for the help but im having problems still it says the game is in the f:\games folder all by its self is it suppose to be with the x box games in the <x box games> folder ????and if it dont make a diffrence i dont know whats wrong.
think im gonna change my nic to N.I.D (Newbie In Distress)....LOL

you have to make sure the dashboard is looking for games in the right folder.. you can honestly make whatever folder names you want, but by default most people use /Games/ there is a very good tutorial kicking around about editing the .ini file for evox. i reccomend reading it! hope that helps _________________ XBOX v1.1
