I have a hacked version of MegaXKey and its the only thing that would let me transfer the saves to my thumb drive. If you have MSN I can try to host it for you but I have dial up so it may take a while. I look around and see if I can find where I got it from and if I can I'll just post the link for you. _________________

Ripz posted the tut on the other thred on running the usb thumb drive velkrosmaak
Still no luck with this even with Xploder, have spent most of the day trying different versions of AR, Xploder, and GameShark with varying amounts of success. I can get AR to sometimes copy the LINUX_Profile, but never the Install SID5.
It seems i've had the most success with MaxDrive; which seems to be a clone of Action Replay.
I am so stuck with this, and have literally spent all day doing it. Uni work can go on hold 'till I get this working. hehe
I will buy anyone who can help me out with this a beer.

Are you puttin the save and sid on at the same time?
i haven't seen the list but i sometimes have difficulty formating flash drives bigger then 512mb usual 256/128 is the magic number, dunno if thats just with my limeted experiance and sumtimes i find with certain drives you have to format it on xbox then pc then xbox to get it working
in many cases - notably the Transcend JetFlash - the default setting of the controlling ROM puts an otherwise compatible USB stick into a state where the Xbox calls it "damaged". Examining the stick in a Linux machine with fdisk shows that there are "stub" security and encrypted partitions as well as the main storage volume. To fix this it may be sufficient to delete (in fdisk) the stub partitions AND the storage partition, then recreate one big partition. No stubs. This worked for 128MiB and 256 MiB units Transcend TS128MJFLASHA, TS256MJFLASHA Vendor Id: 0c76, Product Id: 0005. It may need to be supplemented by a low-level format with the "mformat" utility on the Transcend CD supplied with these devices.
i think this will sort it possible, it may be an issue with having a storage thingy i guess for firmware
Well on the front it has a big silver X, with GAMESAVES written underneath, and it says 8Mb memory card. On the back it says BLAZE in big letters which I'm assuming is the make, and this came as part of the xploder kit.
Looks pretty much like that one.

Well if you wanna try the hacked version of megaxkey its on xbox-scene in the tools section under memory/gamesave management (I think thats what its called) and its named something like MXK BxBx or somerthin like that. As I said though nothing would work until I used it. Well let me know if it works for you man. _________________
Compatible with what? Bit confused now. Is there any type I can get that's guaranteed to be compatible? I thought this one would be 'cos it's an official, made for the xbox type thing - this doesn't even work for transferring normal game saves.

Hi Man,
Yeah; tried that one and it doesn't even recognise the card - unless I need a special Megaxkey driver rather than the Datel one?

Have you tried tranfering a save on to the card and see if it works and if your arent using one of the thumb drives and are tryin that card it prolly wont work cause megaxkey is made for a usb thumb drive. So if thats what you're doin break out one of those thumb drives you tried earlier and give it a go. _________________
