Anybody know what error code 123 is? It's not anywhere that I can find. It comes up when I try to copy an iso from dvd+rw to the XBOX through the file manager. It does it with every single rom. I tried them individually.

Some of the roms give me an error code 2 also.

Your drive may not like the DVD+RW. Have u tried different media or just FTPing to the XBOX? _________________

never heard of a error code 123 but from what i understand and error code 2 means that your EEPROM check failed...usually this means you've flashed something wrong or youve dropped solder on your eeprom chips...dont know that from personal experience but thats what i found out hope it helps _________________

The error he is getting is not a msdash error, if he was you wold be on the money man.

I'm not flashing really. I'm just bruning isos to a DVD+RW. That's the only way I can do it. I could never get my FlashFXP to work. Wes and I spent over an hour trying everything and nothing would work. So, yes I did get and error 123 and error 2, but I'm not sodlering anything. I think it might have been bad roms. I got some more from coolrom.com and they worked.

Have you tryed to ftp it with the avalaunch dash?

Hey Dkoots I see you say you haven't been able FlashFXP workin. Well if you wanna try filezilla I'd ne willin to help you get that workin. I had the same prob with FlashFXP no matter what I would do it just wouldn't connect then and tried filezilla and bam it worked first try. _________________

Thats cool man, but I actually think it's easier to do it with isos. I know its not as quick, but I can pick and choose which roms I want to go at what time. No hassle of getting things connected and cords everywhere. I just use the same dvd+rws all the time. I will keep that in mind though. Now that I have everything, I can just use the crossover cable to transfer.

I'll probably do my backups that way in case I ever have a crash and lose everything. I've spent way too much time individually selecting roms to cmplete my selection. Thing is, you know some roms work and some don't so Ive been looking everywhere. Coolrom.com is the best Ive found.
Only had one so far that didn't work from there. Romhustler sucks.
