I'm the same way I promised my girlfriend I'd only buy a new game every few weeks, but when theres a buch of games I want comin out within a few days or so of each other or I got the extra cash I have to buy em. Call of Duty 4 is pretty bad@$$ man, I do think its better than Halo3 in alot of ways but in others it could never match up to H3. _________________

I like my premium personally, but if people like the elites its cool too. Its just the new MB's have only been out for about 5 months at the most now, so its not like it wont get RROD later. Ill give it about a year then say if its better or not, but for now ill keep my premium. _________________

actually, the red ring is caused by solder melting after extensive use.

Microsoft themselves admitted numerous times that something was seriously wrong with thier core and premium systems!!! They extended the manufactures plan for another 3 years!!!! Ben Heckendom the guy who did the xbox 360 laptop says they are seriously flawed! I mean wake up and smell the coffee....the premium and core systems are seriously defective so much so that Microsoft has admitted to it. Don't you think it is time to admit they are defective? The store manager at Best Buy told me thier store has not taken one return for a elite since they started selling them. Good enough for me

The newer elite is the way to go Ripz, as long as you dont get one that has been on the shelf since launch.
You can see in the pic all the add coolers that come in the newer elites and thay aint red ringing after a few hours of play.

My elite came with two games forza motorsport 2 and marvel ultimate alliance! You can't beat that with a stick!!!! It is part of the bundle package they are making for the holidays. Same price but two games for free is not a bad deal.

I played cod4 all night saturday and all day sunday.....it is probably the best first person shooter I have played in years. I like the halo series alot but I gotta say cod4 is all that and a bag of chips. I love the single player campaign and really enjoy the multiplayer experience a heck of alot more then halo 3. Trust me if you like first person shooters you are gonna love this!

I dont the hype surronding COD4 and MGS4. They both look stupid to me. Of course ill go rent COD4, but ive never like COD games in the past. _________________
