Option 3 : linux with locking unlocking tools doesnt appear it just sits there on a black screen....
option 4: dos boot typing in hdlock: I use the locking password and made sure several times i had written it down correctly but it still gives me error code 6..... _________________

I made a new XBHDM disc and still the same problem...
I don't think I will ever get this thing to work.....
Is there an issue with the Halo editions not liking to be softmodded _________________

boxHDM Likes to not be master on the cable and the HDD has top be master on the cable. The master is the one on the end. in linux HDA is the primary master, and it assumes the xbox HDD is on HDA. I have never had an error with the xbox on primary master. most of the time I set the CD drive to secondary master just so I am sure that it will work. try unplugging the DVD drive in the xbox and hotswapping right when it FRAGs if you aren't already... That way works in only 3 tries max once you get used to it! _________________
