Well I don't think I have a game genie. While I'm playing a game, I have an option for cheat codes in the right toggle menu. They are all empty though. Same Idea fhe codes?

All you need is the rom for the Game Genie I'm pretty sure I've never used it so I could be wrong. You could also try the game genie codes in the cheat menu your talkin about and see if they work _________________

I'm not findin much on it but I am pretty sure from what I've read you should be able to enter the Game Genie cheats into the cheat menu you were talkin about, so try it and let me know if that works. I'm gonna keep lookin and see if I can find anything else. _________________

Go to the cheat codes and there is an option to add a cheat code hit that and it will ask if you want a game G cheat 6 or 8 long pick the one that fits you and put in your code then make sure its turnd on restart the game and your cheat is running.

Yep thats all I've been able to find and I guess some people had problems where it wouldn't restart the game, but I haven't found out if it was just an issue with that version of FCE or not. _________________

Works for me every time and i have never seen it stop a game from loading.

As I said it might of been just an issue with that version of FCE but none of them said what version of FCE they were usin so I can't test it to see if thats it. All it was is that after they picked to reset the game it would take em back to the rom selection screen and when they selected the game the codes weren't activated. _________________

yeah it works just fine. It only works if you restart though like you said. It messes up the game without restarting. I was wondering last night if it there was a way to change the controller buttons so they are more like the sega. You know, like three in a row instead of two on top and one awkward button on bottom.

There should be a controller config setting in there to let you set it the way you want it.

Sry if my post seemed kinda s**tty wes it was the way I worded it I guess, I was just sayin thats what I found so he would know if that happened he could try a different FCE and see if it works then and replyin to you at the same time. _________________

I just dont want to reconfigure the controllers and end up messing something else up. I'm so scared I am going to do something to erase the games again. But I'm being really careful.

Its just a bunch of controller settings the worst you can do is muck the emu and to fix it you can reinstall the emu files.
