im going insane, lol, i have a ver 1.1 xbox, running xbmc, and i have successfully FTP'd into my xbox numerous times in the past, but now for some reason i cant, and i cant figure out the problem, my xbox is on static, its IP address in 192.168.0.3 and the primary dns is 192.168.0.4 username and password, xbox, my PC's firewall is turned off, local are connections is set to 192.168.0.4 with the subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and i just cant connect, my borther's xbox is also modded, same thing as mine, and he can ftp into the the xbox, we both use he same crossover cable the same router and everything...wats my problem, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try a small change to the xbox ip or switching to DHCP and if it dont make a diff it might be your cable.

if all of these options fail, you will have the same problem as my old xbox, failure of your NIC chip....which means very good soldering skills or new motherboard, best of luck to u!
