I am brand new to this and have some questions:

1. How do I set my clock? I have put in my an ip address for atomic sync but I am still one hour off. My xbox was modded in Chicago, one hour behind my state. What do I do?

2. Can my xbox play DVDs ripped to the hard drive? If so, what do I need to make this happen?

3. Can I set my xbox share? If not, what is the default location for sharing files from you xbox to your computer?

4. Is there a list of controller commands? Is there a way to turn my Xbox on from the controller?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Cholo4u2

1. Don't bother with atomic sync and either use your dashboard or the MS dashboard.

2. Dvd2Xbox

3. Please elaborate on exactly what you are trying to do

4. RTFM (refer to the frickin manual), and not unless you do this: http://www.xboxhackz.com/tutorials/hardware/switchNrf/buttonincontroller.htm

I am not sure what dash I am using. I am VERY new to this. If you can tell me how to find out which dashboard I am using I will communicate that information to you. Also, I have noticed that other dashboards allow me to change the time, however, when I turn off the machine it goes back to the default dash, with the incorrect time. Maybe you can tell me how to permanantly switch dashboards.

As far as the XBMS question, I would like to access my xbox hard drive through network neighborhood on my pc. This would make transferring data much easier. I prefer the pc interface over the console interface.

Thanks,

Cholo4u2

Just download aid auto installer deluxe and use it to install the dash you want to boot to.

As for setting the time you can hook the xbox to the net and set the dash you install to sync the time with the internet and you good to go.

For setting up you pc to XBMC just go to the XBMC site and get the online guide there, it will tell you how to set up your smb share.
