J_Smoke, I read the tut for installing a HDD normally, and there is no problem there, I understand it and all, but my issue is I don't have any of those darn -R discs and mine isn't reading my +R discs so I was trying to find out if there is a way I can do it with out a disc.

Yeah you could use the program Chimp, but as far as usin AID to do it without a disk no I don't think theres any possible chance of installin your HD that way. _________________
So I just read up on Chimp. So it seems as though that's kind of a round-about way to accomplish what I want which is exactly what I was looking for considering I can't run AID off the disk. So I clone the HDD I have now, onto the new one, but that leads me to new questions. Won't that copy all settings as well, to include partitions? That means I will have a 200gb drive setup as a stock HDD. So, at that point, will I be able to FTP AID to the drive and run it off the drive to install the new dashes and reformat the drive as a "Larger drive"? Which leads me back to the previous question of how do I go about running AID off the drive instead of from a disk? If that is possible.

Not quite chimp clones the drives onto the new HDD afterwards you just install a das that allows you to enable the G: drive to get all the HD over 137 GB unlocked then use AID to format G: so it actually is there. _________________

It doesn't give me any information on the bios, it says <Unknown> and it says bank 1-4. I have protect, 1 and 2 pushed in on the Control panel. I'm not to familiar with the banks. Like I mentioned in the original post I'm kind of a noob to Mod chips.

If you want to start from scratch you can change the bank and use the x-3 bios to format and partition the hdd.
Then you can use the ftp in the chip to put aid on the hdd launch it and set the rest up with aid.
Awesome, I could do that. Are there any tuts on how to do that? And anywhere that I can read up a little more on the banks so I can understand them a bit more. Cause I'm not sure how the buttons on the X3 Control Panel correspond to the banks switch on the chip itself.

Ok, another noob question about the banks. I have seen that pic that you gave me in that link before, but I think what I am wondering is, what's the difference there are like 8 256 banks. Now I am 90% sure I understand but I don't want to assume so I'm asking, but the purpose is so that in theory, for what ever reason, if I had 8 different bioses that we each 256k or smaller I could flash them? Or am I like WAY off? Cause they way I understood it, being that it has 2mb of flash mem, I could have two 1 mb bios on it.

Your on it man you can add as many bios as it can hold till it hits 2mb total.
I thought so, but my question then is why? Why would you want more than one bios? And on a side note, I'm not sure if I have the wrong utility or am trying to extract the wrong file, but I have Undisker, which is an ISO extracting utility and I'm trying to extract the AID 4.10 ISO and I get nothing.
If you want to start from scratch you can change the bank and use the x-3 bios to format and partition the hdd.
Then you can use the ftp in the chip to put aid on the hdd launch it and set the rest up with aid.
Which bank should it be changed to? the 1-4 1mb unprotected right? So how do I boot into FlashBios? Cause when I press power and eject together to go into recovery mode it powers on then shuts down and powers back on enabled. Do I just go through the X3 Config Live to flash the bios and start from scratch? I just went out and downloaded FlashBios V3.03 just in case it's not even on there and I need to ftp it, but if I do, where do I put it?
