I wold get a -R and try most xbox disc drives read the -R better then the rest.
Disc drives for the xbox are not the best for reading all formats, the top discs to use are CDrw and DVD-R.
sigh... son of a b... I wish it was that easy I am moving to Germany soon and don't have a vehicle anymore. In fact I leave this tuesday and was jut hoping to do this this weekend cause it would give me something to do. By the way, with the 4.11... um... when I unrar it, I don't see and ISO like in the 4.1, do I just select the rar as the addon?

After you have the 4.10 with all the addons in there use the finished iso and add all the rar files to the finished 4.10 isp with the add on installer.

$.11 is all addons no iso you use the 4.10 iso and up date it.
Say, Just curious but is it possible to FTP the AID to the box? I suppose in this case it's not really AI anymore and it's Manual Install of each individual item, eh?

I'm not positive but wes knows since hes the one who told me about it. PM him and he should be able to help you. I do know you have to extract the ISO but as far as how you run it I'm not 100% sure on it. It should be the same as everything else though just stick it in your apps folder and run it like you would everything else I'd ask wes 1st though to make sure. _________________
I imagine it would be no problem to do it on an already formatted HDD, but what about a new HDD that needs to be formatted? Like in my case I am looking to install that 200gb I was talking about. PM sent to Wes. If anyone else knows though that would be great if you could explain what I would have to do.

To install a new HDD with it you have to have it on a disk. To install the HDD you'd just take the old one out put the new one in and put AID in turn the Xbox off after you stick the disk in then restart it should boot AID and it'll say new HDD do you wish to install now or maybe it was format now. Can't remember haven't used this method for awhile here the tut on hoe to do the rest. http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-237.html . It says for AID 3 but nothing has ever really changed so this way should work fine. _________________
