Yes you can play a movie from your pc on your tv with the right video card.

Or it can be done with something like in the 2 links below.

http://sewelldirect.com/pc-to-tv.asp

http://www.amazon.com/Grandtec-Ultimate-2000-PC-to-TV-Converter/dp/B00006B70W

Or use XBMC smb share to play flix from your pc on the tv the xbox is hooked to.

If the tv you want to play the movies on has a pc moniter input on it yes, if not then youll need a better video card or a converter.

Yeah you can stream video etc.. to your 360 from ur pc but you have to have windows media center edition 2005. Also if you have xbox media player you can stream everything using the relax share server or the ccx share server you can get both at eurasia the link is in my sig.

i dont think you need a "hot fix" for anything....if you have an xbox 360 just go to www.xbox.com/pcsetup and u have to download microsoft's "Zune" software...not really sure what to do after that b/c i dont have the media player edition of windows....but if u have a 360 try that and it should work... Cool

Try this out:
To install this update, you must have Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 and .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 installed. Windows Update detects whether these packages are installed. Windows Update automatically installs these packages for you.

If the 886904 update is installed, you must uninstall the 886904 update before you install Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. Otherwise, the .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 installation will not succeed.

To determine whether the 886904 update is installed, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, click Run, type appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.
2. Click to select the Show Updates check box.
3. In the Currently installed programs list, look for the following item:
Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Hotfix (KB886904)
If this item appears, you must remove the hotfix. To remove the hotfix, click Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Hotfix (KB886904), and then click Remove. Then, visit the Windows Update Web sit to download and install Update Rollup 2 for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.
