OK... I know its early and things happen, but I'm usually pretty close on these things. The BCS is tough because of how teams are picked to play in the NCAA championship game (rating system not a playoff) . Im gonna have to go with USC vs LSU with USC coming out on top. You guys can knock me for going with the popular pick (USC), but honestly whos better this year. They have a veteran defence and their offence is top notch.

For the NFL, its real tough this year. The top teams in each conferance all pretty close. The AFC championship game is gonna be New England vs the Chargers. In my humble opinion, these 2 teams have the top offence and defense in the AFC, if not in the NFL. I know your thinking "what about the Colts", but I honestly dont think they're gonna beable to pull it off agaqin this year. They played well against the saints, but the saints wern't exactly prepared for that game. The outcome of this game all comes down to LT, the best runningback I've seen since Emmit Smith. I see the Chargers coming out ontop in a close game.

The NFC championship game is gonna be Chicago vs Dallas. If it wasnt for that botched field goal, this woulda been the matchup last year. Chicago's defense is gonna be a force to be reckoned with again this year, but so is Dallas's. I think this game is gonna come down to the quarterback matchup. Frankly, Rex Grossman dosnt impress me. While he can play like a great quarterback at times, he takes too many risks and has way too many turnovers. The Tony Romo/ T.O. combo is gonna be what gets it done this year. I know T.O. led the leauge in drops last year, but that was with broken bones in his hand. Now that he got all that taken care of, hes gonna be a force to be reckined with. The Cowboys win this one for sure.

Now for the Super Bowl.... Both Dallas and San Diego have a ton of talent on both sides of the ball, but this is LT and theand Chargers year this year. As much as I love the Cowboys, I gotta go with the Chargers. They're just such a better team right now and as good of a defence as Dallas has, theres no way in hell they can stop LT.

You may agree with me, but most likely you wont. I've been real close the past couple of years, and I do know abit about what I'm talking about, but you know the old saying.... "On any given sunday (or monday or thursday), anything can happen" Confused Smile Post your thoughts.

I do like the jets this year, but not as a superbowl contendor. I see them going 10-6 or 9-7 this year. They're a solid team, way better then that other NY squad Wink , But I dont think they've done enough to contend with the Pats. I was watching Mike and Mike this morning on espn2 and they brought up a good point. If the Jets have a chance to beat New England this year its on opening game, before Tom Brady has a chance to sync up with his recievers. In the end though, I wouldnt put money on em against the Patriots this week. It will make for an exciting matchup though. I hope you have a good time this sunday Jilly Cool football games are a blast.

Wes, I feel your pain. Im a Browns fan remember, and in my opinion, both of our teams are the weakest link in the strongest divisions in there respective conferences. In the end though, I have alot more faith in the Browns then I would ever have in the Skins. I just think that Cleveland did alot more to get better in the offseason.

their line up isnt that bad this year and lemme tell you starting off against NE is gunna be one hell of a game. NE is phenominal.....my bf and i love to hate them because they are that friggen good.

my friends boyfriend is an accountant for the jets so he gave me and my bf season tickets to all their home games. im extremely psyched

All i can man is its been years of disappointment being aredskins fan and as for the browns haveing a better shot at anything well no duuu ripz right now as it stands i think that there are around 15 baseball teams with a better shot at getting to the superbowl over the skins. Laughing

I love Pittsburgh but with the Colts and Pats in the AFC it's hard for the Steelers to get there this yr. Pats look like a shoe in for the AFC and NFC probably Seattle or Dallas.

i love how i posted "new york jets" ughhhhh....come on i was so hopeful back then and like every other jet fan, i put too much faith into gimpy pennington.

i actually was talking to a friend of mine yesterday and even he agreed that it might not be pennington himself BUT the bad plays....it could be but i barely see coles anymore and i swear its like a ultimate guarentee that if you pass the ball to coles, sh*t you are bound to score big! but alas pennington cant throw long and coles barely makes the big plays this season.....oh well sh*t happens and thats why im a giants fan all of a sudden....gotta love NYers!

in truth though, its a tie for me....patriots or colts. i cant decide but this game is suppost to be one of the greatest games evarrrrr. well see!

go colts! yay manning! (payton not that POS eli! i hate him)
