So i modded my xbox, by myself the whole deal. Evox dash 300 gig hard drive. softy mod.
I recently decided to make a xbox live account to play again because i wanted to get a 360 soon for halo 3.
Well i made my account with my old stock hard drive and then transfered it over to my big 300 hard drive. when i was having network problems one night i accedently hit the troubleshoot and it tried to update my xbox and failed of course. but now my MS dash is error 21. games still load fine. i have tried replacing my C drive by FTP, that did not work. im just wondering if i have to make a whole new hard drive. which i dont want to do because my 300 gig is almost full and i have no real way to back things up on it as my 250 external is almost full. if anyone has any suggestions that would be nice. i am very fluent in computers so give me whatever you have.

Grab AID 4.10 and use the Softmod One-Click Install system. This will install your softmod and ms dash again, plus your selection of dashboard (evox, xbmc etc.)

OK you're getting the batch process failed because you've forgotten to do one of these two things:
1) Make a backup of the MS Dash
2) Make a backup of your Eeprom
I would suggest using the unmount virtual c just in case it's been used by the softmod currently on there.

they both should already be backed up from the last softmod, thats why i dont understand why im getting it?

OK do this then:
Go to the Backup/Restore HDD menu and do this (in this order):
- Delete MS Backup
- Delete Eeprom Backup
- Create MS Backup from AID
- Backup Eeprom
Does that help?

there shouldnt be any errors, may I suggest re-burning your AID disc at a slower speed, as slow as the DVD will let you.
Bad burns have been known as a problem sometimes with using the disc.

its on a CD not on a dvd. and idk everything works fine so far, i even got a updated version of evox
