my 500GB is giving me very hard time. it's time to nuke the F PARTITION
can anyone guide me to where i can download the xbpartioner program.

Hit the bittorents and download Auto installer deluxe 4.01 burn the iso file in thare to dvd r and pop it in.
It will have all the tools you need and some you dident know you needed.

500GB HARD DRIVE MATE....THATS AWSOME...FIT LOADS OF ROMS ON THERE BRO...!!!!I HAVE TROUBLE FILLING MY 200......Especially now the disc drive is screwed.... ....I have got every emulater and rom i can ftp but still got 40 ggb left even after backing up all my cpu files also......Man 500ggb WOWOWOWOW.....Ya could fit every game and rom plus a couple of p.c's data on that sucker....Awsome and where else would ya expect to find stuff like this??????HQ of course.....Good work lads.... Yeah getting all excited over a 500GB HDD in an Xbox.
You can put in a 750GB with no problems
Wouldn't mind replacing my 250GB with one seeming as I've only 2GB left

Thanks folks, I'm new to this game so go easy on me heh!
have spent most of the day trying to figure out how to work the damn xboxhdm program. ripped out the 500GB xbox hdd things are all over the place ATM
going to hunt down the Auto.Installer.Deluxe.v4.01 as suggested.

Just use or get a bit client like bitcomet to download aid here.

Aid has an app on it that will format and prepaire the hdd for you ez as pie.
even has a one click install to get a dash up and running.

will this Auto.Installer.Deluxe.v4.01 fix my problem as I have seen few people have files going missing from the hdd?
Before I formatted the hdd is there a way to recorver the missing files?
I was lead to believe that "you should be happy now" from the guy who installed the mod. After many sleep less nights filling up the hdd only to found out that 80% of the F partition were gone. many of my fishing video moments and pics were gone:-(
and of course I have the 1.6 version with Duo-x2 mod-chip
my hdd was splitted out as bellow;

I like to to keep things together so a big F drive would be ideal however I can't take another heart attack!
Someone mentioned about format the drive in 32k and I wouldn't know where to start, with this Auto.Installer.Deluxe.v4.01 will it solve my problem that is i would be able to have a big fat F partition without the need of pulling out my hair???

Yeah it shold do the trick for you But dont forget no matter how you do it back everything up that matters to you hdds can fail and all that info gose with it.
