Yes if you have XBMC then go to the power button in the bottem right corner hit a when the bar comes up it will have turn off, restart, bookmarks, and info, buttons on it go to info and youll find your make of chip and bios in thare.

If you really dont want to take it apart to look i wold assume by the bios your running an X2 chip, it's hard to say if it wold be a lite, ce lite, or plane x2 .
I cant recall or not but if you have config magic i think it might tell you what chip it is.
Did that help you at?

Just went to see if config magic wold tell you the chip sorry man it will not tell you what chip you have in the xbox but im really sure your running an Xecuter2 of some sort.

ok i took my box apart and it dosent say much, on the top of 1 chip it says lattice ispmach.
so how can i tell what chip i have?

Im sorry man i dont know any thing about the chip but it beats a soft mod(sorry to all the soft modders out there) i have not used that chip befor.
