It does need to be locked for a softmod. Thats only if you have a modchip. I'm pretty sure when you get banned, its ony your eeprom not your xblive account. _________________

Ok thanks people I've pretty much got everything in order modding wise. Today I'm opening up my Xbox to see what version I have. I'm also going to order my Xecuter 3CE and my new Hard Drive. I have to get a DVD Burner sometime so I can burn Auto Installer Deluxe.
