Just a quick side note, the Platinum Hits Splinter Cell will work as well. Thats what I use and never have any issues

Ya only some will work, my friend has the platinum version of it and it doesn't work. Its just a safer bet to go with the normal one. _________________

Damn, I guess I got lucky then. Usually my luck would lead me to getting the one that DIDNT work

ok i got as far as the softmod menu, but there is no option that says uninstall, any other ideas?
i got:
launch DVD
Trailers
MS dashboard
Reboot
Power off
System utilities
Lauch menu

You need to load up the game that has the linux installer savegame on your HDD. Then you can selected run linux. I'm not sure exactly how Splinter Cell works since I have Mechassault, but there are plenty of helpful tutorials on in the tutorial section of the site. _________________

You need to load up the game and click on linux, then click on checkpoints twice. That will take you into the softmod installer\uninstall menu. What your in right now is Evolution-X dashboard. _________________

there should also be a folder c:\SID. in there theres a default.xbe. you can run it from there too. _________________

ok sorry but what do you mean click on it twice, press a twice? cos when i do that it just loads the EvoX dash,
and as for using c/whatever it was, once iv put the game how do i access the drives as once the game is in i can access the drives, sry for being a pain

Your not being a pain lol. I'm just being an idiot. I forgot theres no file explorer in EvolutionX. Umm I'm relly not sure about splinter cell though. _________________
