This probably isnt the place to be posting this, but I wasnt sure of a proper forum for it, and I just had to share. So I buy broken Xboxs for repair quite often, and have seen some with so much dust you wouldnt believe it. But this one tops all. WHen i plugged it in it was LOUD. The HDD was making crazy noises. So I opened it up, and on the the HDD carriage, and on top of the DVD drive carriage( i think thats what the plastic things are called), were TONS of spiderwebs/nests/egg things. Almost the whole bottom of the board of the HDD was covered by spider eggs and nasty spider stuff! And the funny thing was, the guy just couldnt figure out what was wrong with it, and why it wouldnt work. Just goes to show you the crazy stuff that can dirty up your xbox. CLEAN YOUR SYSTEMS! So many that ive gotten are just gross with dust and dirt. ALOT. Its always good to take some canned air and just clean out your system every month or something. Dont blow the air into the dvd drive, cuz im pretty sure that will screw it up, but just the xbox in general. Take out the hdd and dvd and blow the board off and the fans off and so on. Careful with the canned air though. it can do interesting things if inhaled......

If you use the canned air make sure you dont invert the can in any way.... This is important because you'll freeze whatever you spray. I had a freind destroy a computer he just dropped 3 grand on. _________________

I use a soft brush as well, specifically, the soft shaving brushes you can get. Very soft bristles so they don't damage anything but suck up dust like a vacum!
If you use the canned air make sure you dont invert the can in any way.... This is important because you'll freeze whatever you spray. I had a freind destroy a computer he just dropped 3 grand on.
