I am attempting to softmod an xbox, i am trying to copy the C and E drive to burn the disc that will prepare the bigger HD. The xbox has XBMC on it. When I go to the "Network" menu (I have the MC360 Skin on it) everything looks normal (i use DHCP), same Default Gateway, etc. It looks just the same as when i plug in other xboxes that will let me connect to them. There is not another computer on the network with the same ip address, I know that the computer connects with the xbox, because i get a "connected to 192.168.1.5" like i normally do. Could someone please help?? i really need to finish modding the xbox.

honestly, id start fresh by downloading a copy of the MS C from pirrup and using that which is all u need except the eeprom, must have taht or its a no go. You can get the MS C from HERE and its hosted by pirrup.

Make sure the XBOX is set to DHCP so its auto assigned an IP and u dont give it your own!

Thankyou, I will try that. The xbox is set to DHCP and does get an IP auto-assigned

looks like that link did not work, does anyone know where i can find another copy of MS C?

It's actually buried in the AID disk, as well. Extract it, then you'll find both a "C" and "E" directory on there...

I don't remember exactly where, but a surfing around it's directory structure should avail you the results.
