Well thats mainly because the drive wasnt completely unlocked make sure you remove the dvd drive and look for the error that corrisponds with the dvd drive missing. If you bought this through paypal id say get your money back through them by submitting a complaint cuz there is no reason for some1 to say something and then do another thing,
tried all kinds of different configurations. tried waiting later before removing the ide cable etc
still won't show up under xplorer360

well I bought a returned xbox off a guy thats selling a bunch for 19 bucks each all untested.. well 1st one is good just swapped out a dvd drive on it and it modded fine.... BUT,,,.... on 2nd i cant get anything but service screen to load NO CODE in left corner.. ALSO no white Microsoft under XBOX logo when it boots... I tried the hot swapp with bad results not sure if its cause of drive or swappin at wrong time. Ive read over all forums and Tuts i can find on steps. Just hangs up my pc whne I do the swap. Any suggestions ??
It was a cheap box so give me some ideas just dont want to buy a Chip since i had bad results when i tryed that before. And dont want to invest more cash in my project.
