I was reading a different forum a moment ago, and someone said that its possible to put Playstation games on a xbox, i read the forum but im still not to sure about what to do. And im wondering how do i get .z64 (nintendo 64 files) to work on an xbox. And what about playstation 2 and game cube games, how would i get them to work on my xbox too?
thanks heaps!

this is what some pro guy was saying in the forum i was reading about playstation to xbox converting.
"Just install the emulator using Auto Installer Deluxe or manually ftp it.
Use a program like CDRWIN or something which will create a disc image of the original PS1 game.

CDRWIN will create a image with the right extensions.
eg. .bin .cue

Once you have those two files you can ftp these two files to your pcsxbox/roms directory or whichever directory it states they must be in."

I'm getting auto installer dleuxe 3.10 at the moment> (but i dont know how to use it or what it does)
CDRWIN, i've got no idea where to get that and would winrar be able to do the same thing?

I am answering this because I like to believe that you will be playiong backups of games you LEGALLY own. AID which you are downloading is a disk with a lot of emulators tools and applications for the xbox. But in order to boot AID your xbox needs to be softmodded or chipped. After you get AID to load just install the emulators to your xbox. Then ftp the roms into the appropriate folder. For the playstation emulator you need the playstation bios which arent legal to distribute. All it takes to run other system games is an emulator and the proper bios for some emulators. Hopes this helps. Get back to s with any questions.

PS1 yup that emu is great but you need to change the files around to make it work.

N64 yup another great one a few games won't work due to the lack of ram the xbox has..but you will need surrealXXX...4.95

You place the roms in the rom folder within the emu and your set. As for PS2 or game cube....No it can't and never will be done on the Xbox.

right, i've gotten AID 3.1 onto my xbox and ive gotten all the emulators out, i was hoping they would have games already in them Sad

ALright, ive got surrealXXX...4.95 onto my xbox and ive tryied puting nintendo games into its rom section they didnt work, but im guessing thats because they aren't ment to be .z64, right?

so i have to change the .z64 into .bin or .cue, or is that only for playstation. if so what type of files do they need to be changed too.
+ would CDRWIN do able to change the .z64 into those types of files.
and im still trying to download CDRWIN, so if anyone knows the website or where to buy it, do tell!

+ is AID 3.1 ment to replace your old dashbord, because ive got it as a program. Whats the diff, what does this AID 3.10 do, that evolutionX doesnt? I know im probably not using AID 3.10 or evolutionX to their full potential, but i barely understand the manuals :S. So if anyone wants to tell me some of the cool things i could do, that would be cool!

I have recently completed this myself, although I didn't use AID. I simply FTP'd the PS Emulator across to the Xbox (into a new folder I created called Emulators) and that was it. It appeared in my dashboard and fires up and plays like a dream.

None of this extracting from AID, changing BIOS bits.
After that, I put the bin and cue files across, fired up the emulator and I was playing my PS games within minutes.

If you need any help mate, just send me a pm. Very Happy

My tutorial show step by step the emulation of a LEGAL PS1 game, remeber xbox-hq don't support Piracy
