So I have a complete rom pack for NES and there are a lot of duplicate roms that I don't want that have endings such as (J), (U), etc. I know what the endings stand for and how to put them into XBOX. The only problem is I like to have them not have any endings and it's a pain to have to right click and rename thousands of times. I was wondering if there is a program where I can open the roms like as a list and be able to edit out the endings then save and have the roms names change. Hopefully someone can help. Thanks.

Ok a ton of questions.....One you shouldn't have to remane any of the roms. Two..you FTP the files over to the Xbox. Third the dupe roms are J or japan U or USA...so kick all the J's. Forth you can only hold so many roms in on folder..I am thinking 50 per folder so take the time and put them in a folder and then FTP the whole folder...that should take care of the few (I think 15 roms names that are really long, like spiderman, simpson)
