why wouldn't I use AID to setup the dash and suchs vs using the SID stuff? I mean once modded I can install all my dashes and files just like a chipped Xbox right? For the 1st question.
You need a copy of SID 4.5, which is in the downloads section.
This will contain the saves for all 3 games. Plus an extra one which you have to inclue with which ever on you use called "nk.Launcher". Then just load up as told and install....

For the rest.
You can boot a copy of AID and install dashes like on a chipped xbox. Almost all the same features!
Hmm I don't have an DVD burner so what would be another way of getting the files (its a PITA because of apple) I have the game save for the mech game...but why do I need the SID4.5 disc? If I just got the files game save and the linx hack file and put them on the card. Then shouldn't I just be ok with that? For I would still need the game in 1st for the whole thing to work right? Then set the Evox as a dash (because of backup) and then unleash as an app for the file manger? Hey man SID 4.5 is not a disk it is the newest version of the game saves and the launcher. You will need to copy the game save for mech that comes with SID along with the launcher it also is in the SID download and the reason you use SID to install the dash is because it may not boot AID without a dash you will end up with the contact customer service screen. So I would just use it to install the dash and then use AID to change it to what ever you want. Hope this helps.

hi there all just point out something out the whole idea of the mech/a oringnal game disk is to launch the whole savegame or sid as they call it. I have done this its dead easy you will need m/a savegave an the little launcher file so thats two files load them on to your mem card ok. if need more info i can help you though this ok.

hMM...ok that what it is. Nice so as long as I have those files and tranfer them to the card...then I am in business. After that I know I can set anything up pass that point. Also the other thing my dash has to be in C drive with the .exe file name changed and I can't change it otherwise...I think I got it and when I get my setup...I will ether post Yeah or oh no I messed up another guys xbox...lol. _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!
