Well if you want to put in a new hdd ur gonna need a modchip or the eeprom file.a modchip is the easiest way to go. as for nothing comming on screen i believe it could be a corrupted bios but dont quote me on that a chip should fix if that is the problem tho.

How much are you willing to spend, for about $70 you can get a Xecuter3ce, and a solderless adapter, thats about the best chip out there, and about the easiest to use.. but also you get get others for a little cheaper if you can afford that..

WOW. Ummm for your DVDs your gonna want to rip them and encode them with divx or xvid and 20 DVDs will take up approximatly 14GB On average dvdrips are 700MB give or take a little bit. Now 50 Games would be alot on average they take up 4GB a piece so thats 200GB. So id suggest a 250GB HDD. Also for a decent chip id suggest the Duo X2 thats the chip that im using and it hasnt broke on me at all. they cost on average 15$ Laughing its the best cheap chip you can find.

flashing red led is normally corrupt eeprom. depending how bad the corruption is a modchip will still boot the xbox.

if you have a screwed TSOP (maybe a bad flash) then thats a little more severe. Generally a modchip will not boot an xbox with a screwed TSOP
