Had a softmodded xbox which I did myslf with AID 2.0 last year.
Everything was working fine until I tried to find the Xbox Live auto connext settings (was running XBMC as primary dash with EvoX on there somewhere too...) and well, I don't know quite how or why but when I rebooted my xbox I got Error 21.
So I thought to myself, boot with the drive open to bring up the SID 3 menu and then reinstall Evox would work...but it didn't in a big way and now I have Error 13 - have I totalled my box or is there any way around this that someone could talk me through, pretty please?
EDIT: Found my copy of SC and I knew I had saved the game save exploit on the HDD so I booted to the game as nothing else would boot and managed to reinstall the softmod and then, once the Xbox would read the disk again, ran the AID disk and reinstalled my XBMC...phew!
Thanks for the great info on the site, I was considering Hotswapping as per Pirrup's tutorial but now (hopefully!) won't need to

Can anyone tell me how to turn off the Xbox live autoconnect option so that I can get star Wars Battlefront 2 to play on system link?
I can't boot to the MSDash and suspect this is the problem, is there any other way of getting to it at all cos my MSDash has not worked since I did the softmod?
