Im using a modchiped xbox v1.6. Im also using the A.I.D. 3.0 cd. i wanted to upgrade from 80g that i put in to a 250 but when installing the virgin 250g hdd i accidently selected large hdd instead of larger hdd. an now i cant the full amount of space in the harddrive. Can anyone tell me how to change this to larger or tell me how to make my hdd like new again so i can reinstall as a larger hdd.

Well that will have nothing to do with the mod because I just copied my stock drive info to my 250 and then formatted F and G using AID but you have to enable F and G in your Dash settings. Also what dash do you have?

both f & g are enabled. an im using evo x dash. an like i said i can get the full 250g to show up on f & g but everytime i reboot or shut down they dissappear. i was told its cause i selected large hdd instead of larger an that its only set to f an cant go past f's max allowed space therefore each time i reboot it will go back to just f with the max of 137g. so im asking is how to get my hdd back to a virgin state i guess u would say so i can select larger instead of large.

ive been trygint to get this to work for the past 2-3 hours. i plugged it into my pc an in the device manger it shows its connected but when i go to disk managment its not there. instead it shows a cd-rom dvd (G: ) ill click propertys an it will say that its SCSI DVD-ROM SCSI CdRom Device an is shown under dvd/cdrom drives in the device manager. I have no such cd/dvd device attached at all. this was puzzling em for awhile an i couldnt get the drive to show up an this other one was always there. i took the hdd to my other pc plugged it in an same thing. So for some reason this HDD now is making this fake cdrom drive an isnt letting the disk managment detect it.

just make sure its unlocked, and formatt it in your PC then pop it back in and boot AID
then prepare HDD Larger F & G
With the problem that nemesis is having. Is it possible for him to set up the g drive and then lock it? So that when he boots it will stay active?
I am asking because I have a 160gb hard drive and I cant get pass 137 either. The bad thing is I already loaded and configured EVERYTHING. At this stage I don't know the best possible solution to get my G 'active' without formating the whole HD again. Do any of the xperts here have any suggestions? _________________ With knowledge, comes great power.
